Commitment to Socially Just Research Practices
Challenging injustice requires ongoing self-reflection and work towards meaningful change. From decolonization to unlearning white supremacy, social justice-based approaches to research are a process that reflect a day-to-day commitment to change.

The Courage to do Research Differently
We embrace the moral courage required to do research differently in a dominant culture that upholds white supremacy, colonization, homophobia, transphobia, classism, ableism and other forms of interlocking oppressions. By working together, and drawing from our different strengths, we are able to produce more impactful research.

We are committed to bringing our full selves into our work and put our relationships with each other, our clients, and research participants first. A relationship-centered approach to research is holistic and daring, yet gravely needed. It requires deep listening, collaboration, and humility.
